The northside of the house where my children's windows are were always so cold this winter so we looked into this to offer a buffer. The product is awesome! Easy to use and put up. Simple - it is on a folded up roll where you just cut out the basic widths to cover a 3by5 window as the length is fixed. Simply cut the tape to ring the window, open up the film and pull it tight along the tape. Then you merely reposition it to tighten it up. It is unbelievably clear that you would not recognize it is actually on the window unless you went up to touch it. The only item I caution on is using the hairdryer to smooth it out. Obviously the heat "shrinks" it tight but if you put to much heat over the film it will tighten up to much and put to much strain at the tape eventually pulling it self loose. Go easy on the hairdryer! LOL I am now comfortable leaving this in place to see what effect it will have come summer.
