Customer Review: Stops the wind, keeps out the cold

I LOVE this window film! It is extremely easy to install (make sure you wash the window frame very well before you put the film up) and excels at keeping the cold and wind out of your house.
We live in a home overseas that was probably built in the 80s . The construction is pretty poor. There is no heat or AC in the home so it's very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer. I got this film because in 2009 in the winter I was cold in our house even with a space heater, sweater, my Columbia, gloves, and a hat.
Last year we used clear plastic bags (I know, not classy) that would billow all day long as the wind was blowing. Debris from outside blows in through the giant crack at the bottom of the door.
This year I prepared ahead of time and ordered this film and had it sent over. It has been wonderful. While everyone else was freezing in their house even on the coldest day I was much warmer than last year. On windy days I would test the film and barely feel any at all. I'd also feel for the cold pouring in through the windows and this year there was only about half as much cold coming in, maybe less.
This film was very easy for my husband to install. It's clear and most people can't even tell we still have the film on the windows!
I had a party in the middle of winter and the ladies commented on how warm our house was even though we barely get any sun in the winter. That was a testament to me that other people notice the work of the film as well.
I highly recommend this film to anyone and everyone!
