I do a lot of things outdoors and these come in handy often. This is actually my 2nd pair that I have owned over the past 5 years. My last pair didn't have the digital tuning like this one does. The only reason why I replaced it, was because my buddy complained his ipod hurt his ears when he cut the lawn or when he used the snow blower. Although he got my used pair, he absolutely loves it. These are comfortable to wear, radio stations come in clear, and they really protect my ears. I use them almost everyday. I promise, you won't be disappointed!Customer Review: Peltor Work Tunes

Marc uses these to block out his wife (not really she's beautiful and he listens to every word she says.)
No really, these things are great, I can work in the shop, mow, use the leaf blower and listen not only to AM or FM stations, but I can plug in an MP3 style player (I use a creative Muvo) and listen to my downloaded tunes.

I work parttime at Beaver Meadow Golf Course in Concord, NH mowing rough since my retirement from teaching for 30+ years. These headphones drown out the noise of the mower while allowing me to hear my Ipod play my 580 songs. The digital radio comes in great also if my battery gets low on my Ipod. I would highly recomend these wherever there is a noisy environment in order to protect your hearing. On top of the great product the price was also better than at any other outlet. These do exactly what they are supposed to. They keep out the noise but let you listen to music. I use then in my workshop with saws, sanders, grinders and vacuums constantly running. These block all the background noise and make working a pleasure. They fit well and are easy to find your station because of the digital tuning. And since they are bright yellow I can always find them in my cluttered shop. I have not yet plugged in my MP3 player, but will once i get a short patch cable.Customer Review: Good piece

I have used it everytime I work in the garden now and I think it is probably the best thing I bought to help me work in the yard. I has some static now and then, but overall I get the station I tuned in clear and loud. It does protect me from the noise of the lawn mover, but not sure to what extent....though I must say I hardly hear much of the mover now....I even use it when I use my mixer-grinder when I grinde things for longer duration and it does reduce the noise to a great extent.
