I bought these even though some of the reviews were sketchy. I used them at a NASCAR race the next weekend and they worked fantastic! They blocked out the noise and I was able to easily and clearly listen to the radio broadcast of the race. I also used them while mowing the lawn and again no problems. My friends tried them at the race and say they are going to buy some for the next race we attend. Great product!Customer Review: Great investment...got my yard back !!!!

I can now work in my yard, oblivious to the neighbors dogs. Uses two AA batteries, and they last for days. Most headphone radios use and eat the little AAA's. I live in upper Michigan, and the reception is great, even in my pole building when I walk in and out. The headset fits a little tight, but that is to seal out the noise. This product was purchased to use in conjunction with my diesel powered tractor/mower. I have used it and so did my brother-in-law. It was not only ear protective, but the tunes came in great (note: due to location, we do not normally have the best reception at our home- very rural and surrounded by trees). I would highly recommend it to anyone desiring hearing protection along with entertainment.Customer Review: Great addition to the shop

These muffs work great in my shop. I have an XM receiver that transmits a FM signal to a radio, but when I'm grinding or doing noisy work I slip on these ear protectors. I can walk all over with the sound coming through. They are very comfortable to wear for a long period.
There isn't anything I don't like about them. A friend tried them and he's going to get a pair for his shop.

5 star review for the Peltor headphones....They do what they say they do. The sound from my commercial mower is virtually gone. I can hear it run, but listening to the AM FM radio or my mp3 player is really a pleasure. It helps pass the day.I'm glad i purchased the hearing protector. I want to keep what's left of my hearing, and with these headphones it will certainly help.
