I have been using Filtrete Ultra Allergen Filters for years. It began based on a "Consumer Reports" recommendation for turning our furnace filter into a whole house air filter. Filtrete Ultra was at the top of their list. I have two air conditioning units, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. If I could clean my air so easily, that would be great. As soon as I put my first Filtrete filters in, I could see the difference. The house didn't collect dust nearly as quickly as before.
Fast forward 10 years. I had the air in my house professionally tested for mold. Turns out, the air in my house has barely detectable levels, compared to much higher levels just outside my home office. Yes, they just tested for mold, but what faith would I have in Filtrete if my results were the opposite?
First, "Consumer Reports" . . . now, professional mold inspection. I have not been disappointed.
