I got one of these for my son's bedroom. He has asthma and allergies to dust so controlling the dust is key for his healthy. This unit absolutely is removing dust from the air - I can see it on the filter. Plus his symptoms have been reduced!
It's almost soundless on the low setting which is what we used in his old, tiny bedroom. We moved him into a larger room and now have it on medium and it's still pretty quiet.
I have no complaints!

I bought this air purifier after doing a lot of research and it has definitely lived up to my expectations.
I have kept this in our living room and it runs 24 x 7 on the slowest speed and is very quiet.
I checked the filter after 1 month and was amazed to see how much dirt the filter had caught and that made me think how much we had been breathing in.
I am now going to get a second one for our son's room

I 've had the 3 M Air purifier for a year now
I live in a retirement home . I have 2 12x20 rooms, the air purifier
takes care of my needs. It runs very quietly.
I get my Filtrete filters through Amazon.Delivery is very good.
The filters are a little pricy but Amazon notifies me when they are on sale.
It all seems to work out for me anyway.

This is an all around great air purifier. I live in a turn of the century home with wood floors. Prior to owning the Filtrete, dust and dog hair covered our main floor. However, within days after starting the unit we had about a 90% drop in dust, dander and dog hair. I have the FAP02 model as well and plan to get another FAP03 for our basement soon.Customer Review: it works, but its huge

this works really well compared to the smaller air purifer I usually use. The filters also cost much less to replace(make sure you buy a 4pack when you buy the purifier). It's quite large, and it is quiet, unless it's put on it's highest setting. Im going to take some pictures and upload them so others can see exactly how big it is.
