I've used hundreds of these. 3M sells the N95 mask with or without the air valve, different color and position straps, etc. all with the same title. I like these best. The valve makes it easier to breath so it doesn't get so hot and humid in the mask. The comfort to some extent will depend on how you bend the nose piece. Give the metal a smooth bend to follow the nose contour rather than a sharp bend. I've used this while cutting cement, sanding, shaking out shop-vac filters, and crawling around in the dusty attic. When they're cheap to buy and convenient to grab from the drawer, you're likely to use them more.Customer Review: Most Confortable

I used these respirators/masks in a very small area heavily ladened with cedar sawdust. Though I could certainly smell the cedar, it was more like a pleasant aroma than the nearly overwhelming smell that otherwise filled the air. Because it lays more flatly on the nose, cheeks and underchin, it seems to form a much broader, therefore, better seal than the more common, rigid, dome-shaped masks. (Afterward, my unprotected hands reeked so of cedar sawdust, it was almost nauseating to get them anywhere near my face.) It is, also, the most confortable filter I have ever used. I ordered these and a box of Moldex 2700 on the same day from two different companies. This company uses USPS and these 3M masks arrived almost a week sooner than the place that used UPS. Not only that, I found the 3M masks much cooler and the straps aren't excessively tight like the Moldex 2700. I will buy only these 3M masks in the future.Customer Review: very nice respirator

I use this when cleaning the house, sanding and cutting wood and when cutting the grass. It really does a much better job than some of the cheaper types, it seems to fit around the nose better and sort of cuffs your chin. These masks are the most comfortable to use. Whether it is doing sanding or looking for protection from a flu pandemic, these will allow you to breathe more comfortably and protect you. I recommend them!
