I originally purchased the starter kit at a home and garden store. Alas, they no longer carry it. Originally interested in this product because I have severe arthritis in both hands and it's hard to grip just about anything and scrub anything. Was tired of using the cream type smooth surface stovetop cleaner and making my hands so sore, and was glad to try this product. It has a very nice applicator handle that fits the curve of your hand perfectly and that saves all the pressure on my fingers and actually the pads work 100% better than the cream cleaner I'd used for years. If you have hand problems as I do you'll just love this product. It makes cleaning the solid surface stove top so much easier and cleans up EVERYTHING easier no real heavy scrubbing or extra cream needed to do the job! Hope they never quit making it. Glad to see I can get the refill pads here at Amazon.com. Might also mention that I reuse each pad approx 3 times before I ditch it....you can use both sides of the cloth which is kind of a thick cloth but not too thick. One side seems to take care of everything...so there you go....you have another clean side to use the next time (which turns out to be every night I'm cleaning the surface).
