Ziploc zippered sandwich bags are perfect for bagging and protecting the freshness of food--and many other things and uses, too! These are great for when you want to pack a sandwich in your backpack, pocketbook or briefcase and you don't want that tired old looking brown paper bag--these also keep things fresher because of the zipper that closes the bag and seals in the freshness.
I have used these bags for some while without any problems. The zippers are remarkably easy to use and they rarely stick or slip off the "zipper track." I also like that you can see what's inside this type of Ziploc bag; if you're carrying sandwiches or other foods for more than one person a quick glance at the bag and its contents can easily tell you who should get this food! That eliminates (at least for the most part) your having to label bags for different things and people.
In addition, these are perfect for carrying certain items onboard an airplane; for example, these see through plastic zippered bags are exactly what airport security officials like for deodorants and other notions. The airport security officials and other workers can see immediately what's inside the bag; and that's a big help when you're rushing through security checkpoints to make your flight on time. I really like that feature--and the airports like it, too.
Overall, I honestly can't think of any minuses about these Ziploc zippered sandwich bags. Obviously, for bigger items you'll need bigger bags; but you can always find those for sale on this website. They keep food fresh much longer than a brown paper bag would; and they even help for many uses when you're traveling or just very busy and "on the go."
