My kids love this bed! We originally purchased for our then 1.5 year old daughter because she would fall off the regular air mattress when we would be visiting Grandma's house. We were too scared to put her in a regular bed. And she was too old for a pack and play (she never liked the whole crib concept). It worked great. But then our then 4 year old son wanted one - they are pretty comfortable and the cover for them are high quality. Now we are going to buy one for our niece - when our kids sleep over at our niece's house, they bring over their aero beds and now our niece really wants one. She even likes to share the bed with our daughter - but don't worry sweetheart - Santa is going to get you your own this Christmas! We love love love this Aerobed. Just make sure you fill it up enough with air and check frequently if it needs to be pumped with air again. The pump it comes with really does work quickly and is easy to handle. Our only minor complaint is that the "O" ring that helps seal the cap keeps coming off. Beware not to lose this "O" ring because I am pretty sure that will affect the air tight seal. My family was planning a trip to Southern California over Thanksgiving where we had reserved some hotel rooms. My husband and I knew that our 4 year old and 2 year old girls would not be comfortable bedmates. My mom and sister were also staying in the room with us, so there would not be enough beds anyway. I researched portable child beds and found the highest reviews for these Areobeds for Kids. I decided to get two of them and I have never had a regret since. They are wonderful!! My girls were excited when they came and I blew one up for them to experience it. They had a blast laying on it. They loved the fleece moon and stars cover. I loved how very fast and easy it was to inflate. It was also a cinch to deflate, roll and store in the dufflebag.
When we used them in California the girls easily and comfortably fell asleep on them. Neither one of them rolled off or had a bad night. Their cousins were a bit jealous of the beds and asked me if they could take them to their room to sleep on!! :)
I am so glad that I bought these beds. They have been worth every penny and I plan to use them for a long time to come.
I highly recommend these beds.

This bed is an excellent product. I was recently very worried about travelling and leaving my 3 and 5 year old kids at my parents house for 2 weeks as they are always reluctant to spend the night there. They would have to accomodate on someone else's bed or on a couch , so there would be no sense of security while mom was gone. I bought these beds to give them a sense of belonging and ownership. Since it is deflatable you don't have to worry about it taking any space except while they are actually sleeping. They were ecstastic to realize they had their own beds and could take them to any sleepover in the future. The inflating and deflating is a piece of cake for any grownup and is extremely exciting for kids watching a piece of plastic turn into a bed in less then a minute. The bed is very sturdy yet very comfy since you can adjust the air pressure easily. The size is perfect and the included bedsheet with the star print is really cute and gives the bed a warm feeling. When deflated it goes in the included drawstring bag along with the bedsheet and air pump. Even the kids are able to haul the bag around. This is a fatastic travel bed for toddlers!! My daughter just turned 3 and hasn't slept in anything other than a crib (regular & portable) and she doesn't usually sleep well when we travel. She is too big for the portable crib and she won't sleep in a regular bed so I decided to try this product out. I was very pleased with the results! My daughter was so excited to have a bed that was just her size! The pump (included) inflated the bed perfectly and quickly. It also deflates easily and stores well in its storage bag with room for the removable mattress cover (also included). The bed packs easily in any car due to its nice compact duffle size storage bag. The mattress cover is very soft and fuzzy, which my daughter loved, and it also holds the childs body heat so it is nice and warm. The slightly raised sides of the mattress also prevented my daughter from rolling off, which was great (although I did place some pillows around it just in case). The bed is the perfect size both length and width and had plenty of extra room for bedtime stuffed animals, etc. My daughter slept very well the entire week's vacation (which I enjoyed)! I originally purchased this bed for my (then) 2-year old daughter prior to going on vacation. We needed something lightweight, portable, and comfortable for her to sleep on in our small rental condo, since she would no longer fit in the portable crib. From the first time we used it, I loved it (and so did she!). It is extremely durable and well made, inflates very quickly with the included electric pump, and the cover is thick and soft. It literally takes me 1-2 minutes to set it up/deflate it and put it away. I have even curled up on it a time or two with my daughter and it supports our weight just fine. It stores easily in the included carry bag, and takes up minimal space in our closet when not in use.
In the past 2 years, we have used this bed countless times when visiting relatives, having guests at our (small) house, vacations, etc.....and every time, I remark on how glad I am I bought it. My daughter still loves it and refers to it as her "blow up bed". It's very affordable for the quality that you get, and overall it is one of the best child-related purchases I've made....so much that after two years of owning it, I've come back to write a review on it!
