I was not sure how my 2 y.o. would respond to this at first, but from the minute she saw it on her grandparents' floor, she jumped on it and started running from end to end screaming: "My big bed! my big bed!" She loved it so much at one set of grandparents' that we got her one for the second set of grandparents, and we're going to get one at home for sleepovers.
I should also add that it has held up well to the abuse of two toddler cousins using it for a trampoline!
This is a great next travel product after the Phil & Ted's Travel Crib, which is great for 0-2:

We bought this on a recommendation from a bunch of other moms. We travel a lot to the in-laws and our son was outgrowing the pack and play. I was nervous this wouldn't work because he is still in the crib (he's 2 years old) but he took right to it. We told him it was his specia big boy bed and showed it to him the night we got it. He insisted on sleeping in it that night and stayed in it the whole night.
The raised sides are great since I think it gives our son a sense of comfort when he hits them. The cover is cute and soooooooo soft. And, best of all, the bed inflates in less than a minute.
This all comes in its own carrying case and it fits with the pump with tons of room to spare, so there's not shoving to get it in.
Since it's such a great size, we'll be getting years of use out of it. I would recommend this to anyone with young children!

I was looking for sleeping arrangements for my grandchildren. I have 5 grandchildren 4 yrs old and under. Four of them are currently potty training. I wanted something that was safe, comfortable, convienient for my small space to store and that was easy to clean up in case of accidents. I purchased two to start off with, love them so much that I purchased another. The kids just love them. They are very excited to have their own beds when they come to Grandmas. And accidents are a breeze. Just wipe down with a disenfectant. They blow up in seconds, and my livingroom can accomodate all three beds. I then sleep on my couch,(I have a very comfortable couch),to be close to them so they don't become frightened. And I now have traveling beds that they are comfortable with that can be loaned out for other occasions. This bed was an exceptional substitute for my 18 month old son. We use to use a pack and play but ours got ruined and since he was so old I didn't want to buy another pack and play and this was the perfect alternative. He doesn't roll off due to the "bumper" that goes all around the bed. It is about 2-3 inches tall and just perfect. I would let my son use this when he was 12 months if I had it available. Just butt the bed up to the wall and if you are worried put pillows around the sides that aren't butted up next to the wall but it is so low to the ground that if they fall off they won't get hurt anyway. He loves the flannel sheet that comes with it. We live in Texas and I still use the flannel sheet in the summer. It is really nice and soft.
This product was well worth the money and my son will use it for years...till he is 5 or 6 years old!

I absolutely love this travel bed for my 2 1/2 year-old! She has a twin size bed at home with the side rails. This bed works out great since it is raised all around creating a bumper for her. She moves a lot at night and never falls off this bed which I was afraid of. She loves it and sleeps much better in this bed than on the floor. Twin size sheets fit on this bed well! We used the one included, but put a twin size sheet on top since it's summer. The fleece alone would be too hot for her. Now, it's perfect with the two. We're traveling in a few months and we will definitely be bringing this along with us. My only complaint is when we got it, it had a very strong smell from the vinyl of the bed. I recommend airing it out prior to it's first use because even when you put the sheets on, the smell is still noticeable. I recommend this to anyone!
