I didn't have the experience that some describe of the hooks falling off the rod or the balls coming unsecured. Also they're not noisy unless you jump out of the shower like Superman! They look and feel very high end considering the low price.Customer Review: stylin' hooks

Looks like something they would have at the W Hotel. I have a solution for the metal on metal problem -- they use it in retail stores... take a piece of wax paper and rub it along the rod -- it will slide great!!!
