Attractive and sturdy, the Basic French easel is crafted out of oiled elm wood. It conveniently folds to sketch-box size and opens up quickly to form a full three-legged easel that can accommodate canvases up to 33" high. Telescoping legs with non-skid rubber feet make this easel ideal for both sitting and standing work. Also features a divided sketch box drawer, palette, and adjustable shoulder strap. Carl ordered this easel on line, from an art supply ad. We received it in good condition and in good time. We have since received our acrylic paints and canvasses, and he is painting seascapes with the abandon of a young student! I have decided to join him, and we will recapture some of the magic we shared as beach residents and newly weds, forty years ago......
