This clock is wonderful. We got it for my 2nd grader because she wanted her own alarm clock. This one was perfect. We can practice telling time with the game feature. Which we've actually used (wasn't sure if we'd actually use it since sometimes extra features don't get used). Wonderful to be able to set it in analog mode, digital mode or both. We love the "talking" feature. When her alarm is set and turned on, it "talks" to her and says "you're getting up at 6:40am". Love it. And the alarm when it goes off is not annoying like the buzzing/beeping on your basic digital alarm clock. You have 3 color features (blue, pink, yellow) for the face which is awesome. She picked pink. It's small enough that it doesn't take up a ton of space. I just can't say enough good things about it. Wish I would have bought it a long time ago. Love the night light feature. And are not bothered at all by the constant back light. She has always used a night so this is a nice way of getting the best of both worlds. Oh and it sure has made getting up in the morning a little easier since she gets excited about using her own alarm clock. I used to have to practically drag her out of bed (which still happens here and there but not as much) but with her using her own alarm clock she gets up most of the time on her own and starts getting ready without me having to say a word. I bought this for my 4 year old last spring. She is an early riser and as the sun was rising earlier and earlier, so was she. I'm not a morning person, so I went in desperate search of a solution. I found this clock, but everyone was sold out, so it took me an entire day on the internet to find one. It was worth it! I paired the "rules" with this clock and a reward system and within 2 weeks, she was NEVER coming into my room before 7am. Yeah! To this day, she still gets very excited to announce to me that her clock is green when she wakes me in the morning. One morning I was awake at 6:30am and I heard her get up and turn on her bedroom light, then get back into bed and start drawing on her doodle. Learning to self-entertain is never a bad thing! Even better, she's teaching her 2 year old sister to wait, also. If her little sister wakes early, she usually goes into big sister's room and my 4 year old tells her "You have to wait until the clock is green to go get Mommy." So they wait together and I get to sleep. I think I'm going to buy another one for my 2 year old, just because she's fascinated with big sister's clock. We don't really use any of the other features right now. It doesn't matter much to me, since I would pay a lot of money to be able to sleep until 7am daily!Customer Review: Wonderful learning tool! My boyfriend's 4-year-old is still getting used to sleeping in his own "big boy bed." He didn't understand when it was OK to get up. He would come into our bedroom multiple times a night, his dad would tell him to please get back in his big boy bed, and we would sometimes go but not after crying and sometimes throwing a fit (since he was still tired). Plus, he was also always asking his dad what time it was, sometimes 10-20 times a day! He didn't want to wear his own watch and didn't really understand how to read a digital watch anyway. I thought this would be something cool to try. Maybe it would allow us to sleep soundly through the night and help the 4-year-old understand when it was OK to get up. He absolutely loves it. Even though he's still a bit too young to play the game that teaches kids how to tell time on their own, he loves being able to go into his bedroom and push the button to let the clock tell his what time it is. Then he'd come back to us beaming and all proud to report the time to us. It's definitely worth the price. And I think we'll get a whole lot more out of this product in the years to come.Customer Review: Perfect for my two kids

I got each of kids one of these clocks and purposely put an alarm on the older child (4) and DID not put one on the younger child (almost 3). For my oldest the alarm is working beautifully! He looks forward to getting up, comes in our room and says the clock is green, it's wake up time. And he love touching the feet to hear what time it is and matching it up with the way the minute hand moves around and around. I think he figured out how to turn off the alarm but thankfully he isn't jumping back in bed. The only problem is that his next move is to wake up his sister (who we don't want to wake up that early) and then come jump in our bed instead of starting with his routine. I rated this product a 5 star because it accomplishes exactly what it told you it would. If they could figure out a way to allow you to record a personal message like "Good Morning, Don't wake your sister up and got immediately to the potty" this would be the best clock ever made. But I guess those last two requests are just my issues...(smile) Definitely get this clock, you'll love it.Customer Review: Love this clock

Prior to purchasing an alarm clock, I reviewed several. Read all the reviews on this one and decided to purchase. We have two 5 year old girls and we absolutely love this clock. More importantly, they love it. It has gotten them very excited about telling time. The game feature is outstanding. The alarm setting feature fantastic and very easy for kids to turn off in the morning. The alarm is a bell sound which sounds fine to me but my husband finds a bit startling. They don't seem to mind it. Their bedtime is 8:00pm and we have set the nightlight to come on at 8:30pm which gives them 30 minutes for quiet "reading" (looking at books) time. They know that when the nightlight comes on, their lamps have to go off and it's time for bed. I had read reviews about the nightlight being bright but we think it's a nice soft light. We actually have another nightlight in their room as well. It has several options for volume, color choices and brightness. Cannot say enough good things about this clock. Highly recommend.
