The compartments are smaller than what you get in a 7 day dispenser. You can still put in a couple or more pills if they are not large.
For me I only have one pill I take everyday and have a very unpredictable schedule. It is easy to forget to take a pill or at least try to remember if I already took one. With this I simply look at the date and see if the pill in that compartment is gone. Saves me from missing a day by accident or just not being sure if pill was already taken.
The only con is, sometimes you think the compartments are closed tight but they are not. Just make sure to double check they are all closed after filling.
