I use my water globe all the time. It was a gift from a co-worker who was tired of seeing my poor plant listless and starving for water. When filled with water, it is very heavy but it works great. My plant is in my cubicle so it doesn't get a lot of fresh air...and since my plants soil it moist all the time, it has now started growing mold at the top of the soil. I'm thinking I should let the soil dry out a little bit before filling the globe...kinda defeats the purpose of the water globe, dont you think? :)Customer Review: More useful NOW

The filler tool is so simple that I had it patented. It fills a globe under 10 seconds with no water waste. I may try to market them for under $[...] each if there is enough interest. [...]. I love this thing! Some of the reviewer mention how to properly use it - the instructions that come with the globes are clear about what to do to use it properly. Follow instructions and it is perfect! I have one globe in an african violet that was withering away and is now growing and beautiful. It sits sort of near a radiator/heater so I have to change the water weekly instead of every 2 weeks, but it's easy to see when water is getting low through the glass globe. Keeps your plants from wilting--I love them. Although plants do recover wilting stresses them and shortens bloom time. Aquaglobes serve as a 'canary' to let you know your plants are drying out - when the water level goes down in your aquaglobe it's a visual reminder to water the plant. Aquaglobes have been instrumental in keeping my hydrangeas alive,as a day or two neglect causes those water-lovers major harm.Customer Review: Plant saver

I purchased six aqua globes because I was going to be away from my home for week. I worried that my three large hibiscus trees would die from lack of moisture. I watered the plants thoroughly and then added the globes before departing. My plants stayed healthy and watered while I was away. I'm very pleased with the aqua globes which were a third of the price at Amazon as compared to my local nursery.
