Just fill with water, insert the stem into the soil in your hanging basket and it keeps those outdoor baskets from withering away. In my 16" geranium/petunia hanging basket, it dispensed water for 3 days during 90+ degree temps. I'll bring them in for winter watering of house plants. The globes work just exactly as described. They are beautiful and no two globes are the same since they are hand blown. They look great in any plant. I did not have a problem with them getting clogged. I used a medium sized sharpie marker to make the "pilot hole" and then just stuck the globe in and Voila!Customer Review: I love it!!!

Its very easy to use, make a pre hole to get it a little lose and stick it in at angle. This works great because like most people I only watered my plant when it was going limp. Now with this in my plant it stands up straight like a soldier and I don't need to think about it.Customer Review: Great Product

The aqua globes work great. I put them into my plants before we left for a two week vacation. When I came back they were completely empty but the plants were fine. For larger plants I would definitely recommend putting two in before you leave.Customer Review: Saved my poor plant!

I have a plant at work that needs to be kept constantly moist. As I work from home often, my poor plant was suffering. Aqua globes have saved my plant's life! Also, my rep as a plant murderer.
