Tools and Hardware Reviews of Aqua Globes AG011706 Glass Plant Watering Bulbs, 2-PackCustomer Review: Just like the infomercials Summary: 4 Stars
These were pretty much what I expected after watching the infomercials.
The glass is thicker than I thought it would be - I had worried that they would be frail and I'd be cleaning up broken glass when my boys ran by and knocked them over - but they are pretty sturdy.
The stem is long - I have a few small plants that I hoped to use these in and the stem is just too long, it hits the bottom of the pot, so I think I need to get some of the minis too.
Overall - glad I got them!
Customer Review: Work great! Summary: 4 Stars
I like the convenience of the aqua globes. The only advice I will give is to follow directions and make a hole for it in the dirt. Otherwise you can have the problem that too much dirt gets into the glass tube and it will dry and block the water from escaping. I used a toothpick to push it through but the plant will dry out and the globe is still full. Its a nice product if used correctly.
Customer Review: Glass Watering Ball, Mar. 2008 Summary: 4 Stars
This product held sufficient water to feed two plants in 8" pots for two weeks. Climate was controlled by lowering indoor temp. Might not serve as well in outdoor windy conditions. Product seems fragile, having long glass tube. I consider it a good value. It served my purpose.

Customer Review: Great for fickle plants Summary: 4 Stars
I bought 2 small trees and watered them as the soil became dry. If the trees do no get water immediately after the soil is dry, the leaves shrivel and fall off. The globes serve as my backup plan. If the soil gets dry before I notice, the trees will get water.
Customer Review: They work, but one arrived broken Summary: 4 Stars
Item's work fine. I can't keep plants alive without them. Although, one of the globes arrived broken with a broken stem out of the box. I am still able to use (stick the stub of what remains of the stem into the soil) so I didn't return it.
