Tools and Hardware Reviews of Aqua Globes Glass Plant Watering Bulbs - 2 PackCustomer Review: Better than expected Summary: 5 Stars
I live in Texas, and right now it is summer and freakishly hot. Some of my potted plants constantly wilt in the sun due to water loss, and I am always watering them. I left for one day and came back and half were dead. I bought the Aqua globes and they have done wonders. They dont last for two weeks, I have to refill them every few days (It takes about 15 seconds to fill if done right.) but still it saves me the hassle of watering multiple times a day. And as for the stem clogging, if you make a hole in the soil it wont clog. (duh) occasionally i'll get some dirt but i just wash it out. My plants have been so much happier though. I will definately buy more!!!

Customer Review: LOVE THESE! Summary: 5 Stars
I absolutely love these Aqua Globes! They are beautiful works of art, and work great. I'm not sure why other folks are having trouble with them, but I followed the directions and they work great for me. They're simple! Just make a small hole in the soil, fill the globe (easy to fill) and put in soil... that's it! I use them on my house plants, and they work just like they're supposed to: they gradually water my plants and keep them happy. As oxygen is released into the globe from the soil, water is released (very slowly) into the soil of the plant. And I love see the sunlight filter through the globes! Beautiful AND functional!!
Customer Review: LOVE THEM Summary: 5 Stars
I LOVE THEM A lil tricky learning how to fill them . . . you have to hold them at an angle and allow the water to trickle in . . . then you have to make sure the hole you make in the soil is not too tight otherwise soil will clog the aqua globe. If you don't see air bubbles come up into the globe when you place in soil, just readjust and make sure soil isn't clogging tube, also make hole deep enough so that tube just sits in, don't ram it into soil. The last thing about these globes . . .DO NOT PAY SO MUCH . . .if you check out other websites, they're $14.99 for a set of 4 plus s+h.
Customer Review: Glass art waters houseplant roots unattended and also improves growth by far! Summary: 5 Stars
These are scintillating 6-ounce hand blown glass bulbs of various colors that stand in your house plants on 12-inch glass tubes. Fill the globes with water and insert the sharp straw-like end into potted plant growth mix. Water drips into the plant container for up to weeks and plant tenders either enjoy some time away from home or notice the improved growth with this root watering system. A caution is that these water globes are not child-proof. Please supervise children using Aqua Globes.
Customer Review: Awesome Product! Summary: 5 Stars
I couldn't believe how well these things work! I'm always skeptical when I see things that look cool on t.v. But these genuinely work good. For direct sunlight two are required for one plant, but they are such a good deal that I don't mind. I'm really bad at being able to tell when a plant needs water, these resolved that. Plants drink all morning long, these don't dump water on them all at once, they're perfect.
