I liked the idea a lot when I saw it on TV but did not want to spend that much. I tried to use the same logic and used a clean empty beer bottle filled it with water and inverted it in my pot of daisies. It works the same and I feel great about recycling the glass bottles. I love the idea of the slow continuous feed of water, I developed a problem. The tube that feeds the water sucks up the soil and I can't change the problem. These do work, but I would suggest that you use them on indoor plants. I bought these for outdoor hanging baskets and they did not work as well. I would also look for the ad that had more for the same price.Customer Review: Water-Globe-Filler Tool

The globes are hard to fill with water and the tips get clogged with dirt. There is now a way to both unclog them and fill them at the same time in under 10 seconds. This avoids "filler frustration". The US Patent Office recently approved my application for a water-globe-filler patent. The filler tool will cost under $3.00 but I'm not sure how to market them--direct to Aqua Globe or direct to customers. My Step Mom has them and loves them. I purchased them and they are often clogged by the dirt and don't water correctly. I keep trying to make them work correctly. Could be user error. :)
