We love our Aquasauna, and the seller delivered the filter replacement cartridge quickly. However I would suggest two design upgrades.
1) another washer needs to be made to fit between the screw thread and the shower apparatus. Despite rigorous twisting and attachment, some water continues to leak.
2) Inward grooves near the screw thread about half an inch down would allow easier grip with a vise or ring clamp to facilitate grip during installation and replacement. Most showerheads start to experience some bending when reattaching the shower head replacement filter to achieve requisite tightness and seal.

The iron in my water from a shallow well is so bad I absolutely won't drink it, use it for coffee, or cook with it. Showering in it was always disturbing as well, wondering what else might be in it and not liking the way my hair felt. Cleaning the tub and shower was very difficult as well and needed to be done alot. I absolutely Love my shower filter. My hair feels softer and cleaner and cleaning is a breeze now. The only downfall is the decreased pressure, but its a small price to pay for such an increase in water quality.Customer Review: nice to have, filters out the unnecessary minerals in the shower

this is my second unit. After 6 months of use I started noticing that my water pressure was significantly lower, and my blonde hair started to become brassy. I replaced the filter with a new one, and water pressure went back to normal. I got my highlights done right after i purchased the new filter and have not had a problem with brassiness. I'm assuming the excess copper from the older pipes is being filtered now.

We've been using the Aquasana filter system for a few years now and won't go back to plain, hard water. Using this system makes the water feel and even smell better--we can tell it makes a difference. All you have to do is swap out the water filter evey six months. Go for the best price--it doesn't have to cost an arm & a leg to buy these!Customer Review: Goood product

We have been using product for a few years. it slightly softens the water...(our city water is not that hard that softener treatment is recommended), and removes enough sediment that you definitely know the difference. My wife feels it makes a big difference for her hair.
