I had spent a fortune over the decades trying to resolve itchy skin problems that drove me crazy. Since we have well water, chlorine was not the primary problem, so I needed a product that could filter out other common noxious elements as well, such as pesticides, rust, iron, etc. Additionally, it was important to be able to detach the showerhead to use as a wand, to wash off any soap residue from our glass shower door, which had become etched from our hard water. Mineral deposists on the door are now a thing of the past,and the delicously soft water that the Aquasana filter sprayed on my troubled skin felt luxurious, wonderful. Since other family members share similar skin problems, I shared the "Aquasana solution" with them. Who knew the resolution of itchy skin problems would be so simple? I am thrilled with my purchase.
