Customer Review: My favorite gardening glove

I've been gardening for 20 years, always used gloves so I've tried most everything on the market. There were times when I thought I had found the best and I'd use that for awhile until something else came along and then that would be my new favorite. Well now it's Atlas' turn, for the past couple of years these have been my favorite gardening gloves.
Recently I started volunteering at a public garden. On my first day I showed up with my own gardening gloves, assuming they would not provide anything this nice. They brought me to the drawer where all the gloves are kept and when I opened it I saw many Atlas gloves. There were other brands too but mostly Atlas (depends on what people donate). Every week now I've noticed the gloves volunteers are chosing to wear are the Atlas gloves. They're always the ones piled on the table at the end of the day (the drawer is only for the clean gloves). I can see why, these are the most comfortable to wear, you retain dexterity but at the same time your hands are protected. Not too heavy, not to thin. The upper portion of fabric allows your skin to breathe while the palm and fingers are protected from dirt and moisture.
Another reason I love these gloves is that you can wash them! I throw them into the cold or warm wash load along with my gardening clothes and when the cycle is done I lay them out to dry. Don't put them in the dryer or eventually they will crack, I made that mistake with my first few gloves until I learned to let them air dry. I love wearing fresh, clean gloves each time I garden so I wash these a lot. Hence I have many pairs.
I like that Atlas has improved them from an earlier design, now the cuff is longer and grips the wrist so dirt doesn't fall into the glove like it used to. It will be hard to top this glove, I'm sure someone will but until that time comes I will keep buying these.
