Automatic Soap Dispenser provides liquid soap when it sense your hands. You wash your hands to get rid of germs and bacteria, so why risk touching a soap dispenser that sits out all day being touched by dirty hands? The Sensor activated Automatic Soap Dispenser is an ultra-sanitary soap dispenser that has a built-in motion detector to sense when your hands are in front of it. Just hold your hands at the level of the motion sensor, and the Automatic Soap Dispenser will provide you with liquid soap to get your hands squeaky clean. The Automatic Soap Dispenser is powered by three AAA batteries (not included). Designed to be drip-free, the Touchless Automatic Soap and Sanitizer Dispenser lets you decide how much of your favorite liquid soap you use for each hand-washing session. To adjust the amount of liquid dispensed, press the + or - button. Place a Sensor Dispenser in every bathroom in your home for hygienic hand washing. You can even put one next to the kitchen sink and fill it with dish soap! As others have said, exactly as advertised. Only takes 3 batteries (others we have tried take 4), and so far no degradation in battery power after almost 2 months. Battery compartment is designed to keep batteries dry in a little drawer that is easy to remove and insert, without turning it upside down, without tools and without disassembling the unit (compared to another design Simplehuman BT1017 Spout Sensor Soap Pump [Kitchen] that actually puts the batteries at the level of the sink, with no seal and in the water, and requires a Phillips jeweler's screwdriver). Level indicator seems to function well. Less expensive than similar units. Holds a good amount of soap in spite of its compact size. Dispensed amount adjustment actually seems to work (not so with other manufacturers); lowest setting is just about right for one handwash; it can be easily turned off for filling or cleaning with the batteries in place by simply setting the dispensed amount to "0", as stated in the instructions. It has a "Rinse" function that dispenses liquid for 30 sec if you need to quickly empty the reservoir to change types of liquid (soap to lotion, for example). Seems to be a well-designed unit that actually works, versus just about every other automatic soap dispenser tried - which have been marginal to below awful, some non-functional out of the box iTouchless Brushed Stainless Steel Automatic Sensor Soap Dispenser with Wall-Mount Docking Holder. Only (minor) downside is that the motor is somewhat noisier than other units, maybe because, as noted, it actually runs....
