If you are looking for a way to keep your house warmer in the winter or cooler in the summer, this is a good solution that will quickly remedy the problem of drafts under the front door. It may also help in windy rainstorms where water is likely to find its way under the door. Within a day after putting this under the front door, I noticed the house staying much warmer and now my home is cozy warm. If you have a standard size front door, this should fit with no adaptations. If you have any problems with this fitting, all you do it resize the foam inside and instructions are included.

Customer Review: with few adjustments...love it!

I purchesed one, thinking it did look cheap and probably wouldn't work, but boy was I wrong! After a couple of small adjustments, it works great. I had to cut the foam piece that goes on the outside of the outer door because it would catch on the doorjam and then I placed 2 tacks under the bottom of the door to hold the guard in place (it would slide off when I opened and closed the door) and viola! it works perfectly. I will be ordering 3 more for my other doors and I expect my home will be much more toasty. Can't wait for them to get here since it's been windy and very cold lately!Customer Review: Draft Guard does what it was made to do

The draft guard works as it should. I am using it not only to keep the cool/warm air in but also to keep pests out (using in Afghanistan to cover the gap under my door to my room.) It is basically composed of a piece of fabric folded back onto itself and sewn down to make holes to slide the foam tubes provided into. There are also velcro patches so you can fold the end back onto itself to keep the tubes inside the fabric. The AC seems to be kicking on less since putting it there, but I might update after it starts to get really warm out here to put it through it's paces.Customer Review: no more draft

I loved the fact that you could adjust the guard by cutting-to-size. After I received the guard I realized I couldn't use it for the door I'd bought it. The door jam being too high on the bottom and wouldn't let the door close properly with the guard in place. Fortunately, I was able to cut it down to fit an inside door. It really does the job keeping the draft closed up!!! I'd recommend this product to friends and family with confidence. I have owned this type of product for 2 years. It has done it's purpose and has eliminated air draft and insect entry from my two french doors leading in from our patio area that is covered.
Our home was damaged from Hurricane Ike and also from a water pipe leak while away from evacuation of Hurricane Gustav. They were damaged and need to be replaced. Wonderful product. These are better than the ones I originally purchased from ABC distrubiting. Higher quality.
