Tools and Hardware Reviews of Baker's Edge Nonstick Edge Brownie Pan

Customer Review: Great product
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this pan as a surprise for my wife. She was very excited to try it and also impressed with the quality. The thickness of the metal resembles a frying pan rather than bake ware. The extra thickness allows the pan to heat the center of the pan as much as the exterior, giving an even cooking for each "edge" of the brownie. We have had three sets of brownies now and it has performed beautifully each time. FYI, you must use a mix designed for a 9" x 13" pan. On the first round of browned, we had the smaller mix for a 9" x 9" pan and it was not enough to fill this one up. So we used two boxes of mix. The browned were extra think but still cooked wonderfully.

Customer Review: Outstanding results!
Summary: 5 Stars

I've used this pan twice, only for brownies so far. But the results were absolutely FANTASTIC! The brownies had chewy edges and fudgy centers. They came out of the pan extremely well, leaving nothing behind. I didn't even spray the pan first (forgot the first time, fortunately)! I kid you not, my pan--currently filled with all but three brownies--looks just like that one product photo.

Even with an ordinary box mix exactly as directed, these were among the best brownies I've ever had. Can't wait to try brownies from scratch and other goodies.

I wish this exact pan (material, craftsmanship, weight, finish) were available in a Bundt pan!

Customer Review: great gift for edge lovers, good quality
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this "all edges" brownie pan for my husband for a gift and he loves it. As a non-fan of the edges, this was a pretty self-less gift... :)
You DO get mostly edges and will get at least 2 edges in every square you cut. It is a solid pan with a great non-stick coating-- a droplet of oil (from the brownie batter) sat on the top of an edge for days, which was amazing. Pan comes with a nice, plastic spatula which is just the right size for the narrow rows of brownie and easy on the coating of the pan.
Even a less than enthusiastic lover of brownie edges can appreciate the novelty of this pan.
Good value for the money (paid about 30$).

Customer Review: Baking magic!
Summary: 5 Stars

This pan has been a fantastic investment. It's been great fun and a great incentive to bake dessert. I love having homemade dessert around the house, rather than store bought cookies, and every brownie has come out perfectly tastey and with just the right texture.

The pan itself has been easy to clean, and very sturdy. It comes with its own smaller spatula that fits the channels in the pan.

I love making dessert in it, but I even tried lasagna once and it came out amazingly well! Each piece was nicely formed, and had all its layers in each serving. I'll definitely be exploring more options with it in the future.

Customer Review: Great Pan!
Summary: 5 Stars

I got this pan for my husband who loves the outer edge of the brownies. For his birthday cake I made turtle brownies and they turned out great. The Carmel got way too hard on the edges but the brownie parts were wonderful. The pan also comes with the perfect sized little spatula so you don't have to worry about scratching the pan with metal one.

It should be noted that your brownie cook time will be less then what is noted in your recipe. I didn't think about that and suffered from overcooked brownies.

This pan is also great for cookie bars, lemon bars and pretty much anything else that has a crusty edge.
