Tools and Hardware Reviews of Bar Keepers FriendŽ Cleanser & Polish: 12 OZCustomer Review: Fabulous!! Summary: 5 Stars
OMG This stuff is great! I have some super expensive cookware and you can't just clean it with anything. The manufacturer suggested to use white vinegar to remove spots and other such discolorations to keep it looking new. The vinegar didn't work at all. I used BKF and what a difference it made. All I had to do was sprinkle a little on a moist surface, use a paper towel and work in circular motions forming a paste. After about 30 seconds I rinsed it off and it was like new! Every piece I have used it on now looks like new. I will always use BKF on my pots.
I also used it on my stainless steel sink, it removed scratches a roommate made by cutting something on the corner (instead of using a cutting board). And the sink has a wonderful shine to it. I haven't gone much farther than the kitchen but I will venture in other areas of the home and outside. (This stuff is supposed to remove rust, I believe it will!)
Customer Review: WOW, how did I not know about this stuff before Summary: 5 Stars
You can clean a lot of things with it as long as it has a hard surface that won't be destroyed by a mild scrubbing agent. It brings so many things back to a like new appearance. Was $2.49 at Jewel-Osco in Chicago. Best money spent for a cleaning product.
My main reason for getting it was to remove the heat marks from my stainless steel pans. Did that and more with minimal effort. It also brings back copper cookware to a luster that it only had while you were paying for it at W&S! Did a wonderful job of cleaning the porcelain surface of our tub with virtually no hard scrubbing. All you have to do is just apply a tiny amount of pressure on a non abrasive scrub pad or rag and make tiny circular motions, rinse and DONE! Like new again.
There is a reason its been made for $130 years ... a secret that P&G or any other brand of cleaning product hasn't been able to figure out.
Customer Review: Excellent product at the right price! Summary: 5 Stars
Muriatic acid had accidently been spilled in my new kitchen sink and left some unsightly stains. I tried all sorts of products and googled stainless steel and acid and stumble upon a link to this product on Amazon. However since I live in the Caribbean, I was disappointed to learn that there were restrictions to buying and shipping this item to a non-US address.
Anyhow, to make a long story short, I happily discovered tonight, that this product is sold at a local supermarket for US$3. I bought it and am thrilled to report that I have just finished removing those ugly stains from my sink. It really worked!!! I can't wait to try it on other stuff around the home this weekend!

Customer Review: It's a wonder!! Summary: 5 Stars
I'm going to try and keep this brief as I don't think I can add much more to what's been said already.
I love this product!! I bought it to use on my new cookware set. It's a miricle worker on stainless steel. It removes spots and discolorations in a flash. Just sprinkle a little on a wet surface and wipe. Ta-Da! No more stains, spots,or discolorations. I've also used it on older stainless steel pieces that had burned on/baked on stains. I was going to toss those items in the trash. I used BK'sF on an old stock pot and with a little elbow greese it shined like new!
Bar Keeper's Friend is a must have for any home. One thing though,if you can, check your local supermarkets before buying online. I've been able to find it as low as $2.00 for a 12oz can. That's a nice savings over the price here though I'd gladly pay the $8.00 for this treasure!
Customer Review: Makes 40-year old pans look new! Summary: 5 Stars
This is the most amazing cleaner for cookware and any kind of stainless item like sinks, etc.
I have some 40-year-old Lustre Craft cookware which had dulled over years of use and after getting some of this cleaner for my All-Clad a few years ago and being impressed with it, I tried it on my old pans. Wow. You would never look at them and dream they were that old.
It also does an amazing job on my stainless sink.
This stuff comes in a liquid form which is easier to use for some things, like ceramic stove tops, but my stand-by is the powder. As another reviewer noted, just make sure you don't leave in on anything for too long and if you're going to be doing some extended cleaning, wear rubber gloves because it WILL dry your hands out.
It really is as good as everyone says.
