I'm not sure why some of the reviews state that these hangers don't support weight. I bought enough of these hangers to fill 3 closets and I have plenty of heavy items. I've had them for almost a year and they are just fine. I love them. It's easy to keep my items organized and easy to hang and remove my clothing. I do agree that I can't smell a cedar scent. I'm actually glad; I almost didn't buy them because it mentioned a cedar scent. I'd highly recommend these hangers.
