I need the drain board with the water outlet on the short side; otherwise I have to turn the dish drainer around on the counter and then the dishes piled in it collide with the cupboard and paper towel dispenser above. Plus, the long-side-outlet drain boards don't fit into my sink when I have to drain the water out of them. I don't know why, but vendors seem to have stopped offering drain boards with water outlets on the short side. (NOTE TO RUBBERMAID, TARGET, and WALMART: You seem to have abandoned a market opportunity here!)
I was so glad to find this drain board available at Amazon.com that I paid more for the shipping than for the drain board, just to get one.
It arrived fast, in good shape, and is indeed just what I wanted and needed. Looks great, works great. Seems sturdy enough for my uses. It's even larger than my previous drain board, so no more water drips on the counter from glasses placed upside down on the dish drainer's outer holders. A big kitchen frustration has now been eliminated. Once again Amazon saves the day.
