It picks up the poop and closes reasonably well. I wasn't looking for much in a bag like this. It's biodegradable. I use it to pick up stuff from the cat litter box too, because I was buying biodegradable litter and putting it in a regular plastic bag, which didn't make much sense. My neighbors would probably like it if it closed better. I'd like it too.
