This truly might be the best product I ever brought in my lifetime. I have ceramic tile throughout my house and have a husband and german shepherd that refuse to wipe their feet at the door so needless to say my hallway is always dirty. I read about this product on the Amazon web site and told myself it couldn't be that good. One day I happen to be at my local Lowes and they had one left on clearance for $29.00. I got it for $20.00 with no box or instructions or mop heads. I contacted Bissell customer service and within 24 hours had instructions and mop heads for free. This mop does exactly what it promises. Within five minutes my hallway was clean. No dirty water or mop to deal with. I even by mistake put the mophead in the dryer and thought I was never going to get it back on but I had no problem.
I know I got a great price but to be honest this product is worth even more than the price Amazon is selling it for. You will not be disappointed. Kudos to Bissell for making a great product and with the customer service to go along with it.

I have a toddler so cleaning floors is an obsession with me. I totally love this product. My wood laminate floors look and feel so clean and without using any harsh chemicals. My tile floors were also sparkling.... although I still had to get on my hands and knees to clean the grout. I only have a few design complaints: the unit is a bit on the heavy side. Although I love the sturdy feel of it, it takes some energy to push around. The cord is a bit too short, I had to replug it into 3 different outlets to get my kitchen and family room done. I'd buy the product again in a minute. Things I love: this mop comes with 2 mop cloths which are easily laundered in the washing machine and the machine is ready to steam clean within 30 seconds of plugging in. Like other reviewers, make sure that you change the cleaning pad once it becomes soiled (and it will no matter how clean you thought you're floors were) otherwise it's like pushing a dirty mop around, also make sure you sweep or vaccum your floors thoroughly before mopping.

I am a clean freak and a cleaning product/gadget JUNKIE! (Just check my pantry for proof). I bought this after searching LONG AND HARD for something to clean my hardwood floors to that "new" look again. Every type of cleaner and mop I had tried thus far left a film on the surface - somewhat cloudy in spots. NOT the Steam Mop....finally! Also a HIGH for me that I haven't seen mentioned here is that there are no "mop lines" as it dries so quickly. I can mop in any which way direction and still can't see any lines when it dries.
As for some reviews mentioning it doesn't get up "tough stains"? Just read the directions. It explains how to use it on tough stains - I just got bubble gum off the kitchen floor and dried hair gel off the bathroom floor in seconds!
My only complaint would be the cord length. I have lots of floor to be cleaned, and I find myself stepping in wet areas to unplug and move it to the next section. If that were resolved I think it would be about as close to perfect as can be!

I've been struggling with a 5-year old linoleum floor in my dad's house - to get it looking clean and sanitary has been impossible without getting down and dirty...until today. I bought myself one of these mops out of curiousity and after the first swipe, I knew I had a winner! I couldn't believe the dirt that this steam mop lifted out of the tiny grooves of the linoleum pattern (which was what was making the floor look dirty) - and in no time at all, I managed to get that floor cleaner than it's been since installation. I HIGHLY recommend this product for a fun and simple way of mopping. I do agree with other reviewers who advise to buy extra pads - I found that the more I lifted dirt and the wetter the steam got the pad, the more likely I was to leave streaks on each stroke. I resolved the problem by switching out pads when that started happening. End of cleaning - tossed in the washer and dryer and we're good to go in a couple of days. One of the best gadgets I've rewarded myself with in a long time.Customer Review: why did they stop making it???

I have had my steam mop for 3 years now and I love it...it gets the floors so clean, it's easy to use, it fits into tight corners and underneath tight places, and it's easy clean-up (just throw pad in washing machine and empty water). I'm such a clean freak too. Recently I went to buy replacement pieces(filter, mop pads) and to my dismay, I couldn't get them anymore...this model's been discontinued! When left with no choice, I bought the Bissel Flip It...what a pain! Seperate cleaners to fill up for wood/vinyl, it doesn't fit underneath anything, it's clunky and cumbersome and always tipping over (once spilling out the contents of the "dirty" tank, and hard to clean up at the end. I have to pull out hair/dirt/dust from the tank and nozzle and rinse and clean the thing each time. I have 3 kids, I have no time for this! It does clean at least, but it takes so much more time/energy. Really a nightmare that my favorite hard floor cleaner has been replaced by a lesser model!
