For such a lightweight vacuum, this thing does an impeccable job on hardwood floors. If you don't have time to pull out your big sweeper, grab this guy and voila! It's done in a flash! It's not made to pick up large pieces of dirt, etc., like dog food, etc., but for regular little things that get on your kitchen floor, baths, etc., it's a godsend. I hate to get out a huge vac just to pick up a small mess and this guy does the job every time. You can't really use it on carpets though, it just sucks so much that it gets a little "stuck" on the rugs. Great power in such a little guy and it even comes apart to sweep out your car! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this little sweeper, it is much better than a broom & trying to get up that last little bit of sand in the dust pan. My kitchen & bathroom floors that are linoleum, I live in North Central Florida on a dirt road, I have a 12 yr. old boy & 4 dogs, none of them remember to wipe their feet on the mat at the front door & ALL of them can track in a LOT of dirt. This sweeper gets it ALL up ... No Problem & I don't have to get out the BIG clumsy vacuum!!! As for the short cord, others talk about, it isn't a problem for me. I just plug it into a different outlet or use an extension cord. It's great, I would definitely recommend it to anyone.Customer Review: Makes Cleaning Floors Fun!

I'm in love with this little vacuum. I needed one with a power cord, because I've no place to put a charger. But I've had rechargeable quick-vacs before, and the batteries always seem to lose their ability to hold a charge anyway. That's not an issue with this little baby. It has fantastic suction, even at the outside edges of the sweeper attachment. I've added an extension cord, since the cord provided is short. Cleaning out the dust receptacle is easy--I'm always stunned at how much this puppy picks up, even when I think the floor is not that dirty. Works great on all but the highest pile carpet. I have an unusual shape kitchen, plus one large bathroom and one smaller one and a foyer. Well I got tired of using a broom and dustpan to clean up hair, dust, etc. Saw this on Amazon and ordered it. Quick delivery had me cleaning my kitchen, bathrooms and foyer in no time. No pushing dirt around. Assembly is a breeze, a little noisy but the results are great. Now when I mop I know I've gotten the dirt up first. I also used it on several area rugs and it did a great job. Now when I have a small area to clean on the wall-to-wall carpet I won't have to drag out the big vacuum. So glad I got it. Saves me lots of problems and not hard to use.Customer Review: I love this vacuum

This vacuum is the greatest. I purchased it to vacuum my kitchen and mud room floor (I have a cat box in the mud room). This works like a breeze. It really is lightweight and quiet compared to my other vacuums. It works like a charm. Picked up everything with no problem. It has enough power to pick up everthing in its path (granted, I didn't try to vacuum large items, but it picked up crumbs, dust and all the cat liter with no problem. I haven't tried it on carpet, but that was really never my purpose for buying this. I think if you are looking for a little vacuum for quick projects, you will be extremely happy with this. I am.
