I was totally impressed with the job this vacuum did. The suction was so strong I had trouble vacuuming the small area rugs around the house. It picked them right up! I seriously considered buying the $500 Dyson vacuum, but after a fair amount of research, I found no compelling evidence that the Dyson performed any better than others of the same type. This vacuum did not disappoint and it was a fraction of the cost. I absolutely love the dirty/clean indicator which readily tells you if it is still picking up dirt. There is also a suction indicator which tells you when you are losing suction and it's time to empty the cup. A word of warning, however - I wasn't paying attention and the cup filled up (mostly with carpet fibers!) past the "full line" without ever losing suction. This resulted in my having to clean the filter out (which is fortunately very easy).Customer Review: Happy cleaning!

I did a lot of research via Consumer Reports and just by the Amazon.com and other website reviews before buying this vacuum. I purchased this vacuum after going through a Hoover and a Eureka before that. I was so amazed at how much dirt was in the cup when I used it the first time. I empty the cup every time I vacuum now just so I can see how much dirt it picks up and this is coming from someone who would wait until a vacuum no longer had suction before I would empty the bag. I noticed one reviewer complaining about emptying it and I have to say that this vacuum is by far is the easiest to empty and like I said, I empty the cup every time. I also want to mention that I have a toddler and two dogs that I am constantly picking up after. The only con I can see is that it doesn't clean hardwood floors very well but I've never owned a vacuum that did.Customer Review: best vacuum I have ever had

I actually had the yellow dyson and like this vacuum much better. I purchased a Roomba for myself (highly recommend) and since DH got me a dyson for christmas, we decided to return it since these 2 purchased combined were way too costly. I wasn't that happy with the dyson anyway. So I looked on here for reviews and this seemed to be everything I needed. Well I have been using it and LOVING it. Love the green/red light but my fav part is emptying the canister - it is SO easy. I have had 3 other bagless vacuums and this is by far the easiest to empty. I love the onboard tools and they fit so nicely. It is not too heavy and easy to carry with the little handle. I only wish they made the attachment hose about 12-18 inches longer in stretch. The cord is a great size too. I haven't had any problems and I highly recommend!!Customer Review: Think your carpet is clean.....THINK AGAIN!!!!!!

I'm a single guy with 2 cats and I'm also a smoker(which adds a lot more dust through flying ash). Vacuuming never was one of my favorite tasks. The other day my old vacuum died and I borrowed my neighbors Bissell powertrak I went already and got my own one, because I knew it's the best buy I can ever do!!!!
That thing is soooo strong that it sucked up a whole container of cathair and half container of dust, which my old vacuum never was able to get out of the carpet. And the best thing is the "clean sensor". I love it, that it tells me when I'm done cleaning. Seeing the green light continously, is like an approvel which says:"you did a great Job cleaning" Also I have ADD and keeping track of the light until it finally stays on green, helps me stay focused without getting bored!!!!

This vacuum is simply amazing! Our Dirt Devil decided to go out on us so we had to purchase a new vacuum. My husband thought about the Dyson but then did some research on this Godsend of a vacuum. It is absolutely, without a doubt the best vacuum I have EVER owned. We got it home yesterday and I did some vacuuming. I could not believe how much dirt & dust it picked up. We have 3 cats, 2 dogs, and 3 kids. It picked up every last hair, piece of dirt, etc. I love the sensor light, makes vacuuming less boring. I love the long cord, I was able to do my entire upstairs without having to plug it in into different rooms. It is so easy to empty the container. After vacuuming, my carpets looked better than ever and even felt cleaner as we walked on them. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this vacuum!!
