It just arrived this morning, so this is a prelim review.
After noticing that my vacuum was losing its suction, I set out to find a good, reasonably priced, powerful vacuum. Since I have a dog and a cat, it was important that it really sucked, really got all the pet hair that was all over my rugs.
Well, I plugged it in, did 1/2 of the living room before the cup was full. I'm so embarassed! I had no idea that there was that much gunk and pet hair on my rug. Ugh. But what a powerful little vacuum, my rug looks fantastic.
I use my shop vac for my hardwood so I can't speak to others' concerns re: this vacuum on wood floors, but I can tell you that it's awesome on rug and carpet. And to think I was going to buy a Dyson for nearly 4 times the price. Yikes.

And I'm male. Never thought I'd say that I enjoyed vacuuming the living room floor but it was fun. Light on the front, 3 filters, and a pretty roomy dirt cup (was able to clean 35x20 ft room without needing to empty until the end) Vacuum light and really sucks up the dirt. I have 4 cats and hadn't vacuumed in over a month since my Dirt Devil blew up. This puppy got all the hair up. I always worry about durability, but I think as long as you replace the filters as needed then you should be in good shape. Seems easy to replace belts when/if it gets that time.
Dirty/clean light is cool.
Major limitation is the length of hose on the handheld attachment. I hope there's an optional extension for this.
If you want a bagless for 100 bucks this is the ticket!

Have to say I never write in for reviews and just kinda read everyone elses. I bought the Dyson (yellow model) and returned it two days later. Hey I thought it did a nice job (thats what I thought) The Bissell blew the doors off the returned model. In one room it did a half a canister full of dirt. I read the reviews on other sites about dyson and it seemed like a info commercial. Then I read Consumer Reports Jan/2005 on cleaners and they rated this model(PowerTrack) as OK selction. Well, I think they rated it way too low. So, I'm a proud owner of a 15lb Bissell and she was named Clean View Power track. for 87.00 Have to say I go five stars all the way on this model. Hey give it a try they have a 90 day return policy if it doesn't float your boat.Customer Review: GREAT VALUE!!!!

My Hoover that I have had for quite sometime was starting to suck.....and I DO NOT mean suck up dirt!! I was considering a new Hoover bagless, but people were not giving them good reviews, and they were a bit out of my budget. The Bissells were all getting good reviews, so I thought I would look into one. The one I intended to get was out of stock at the store, but I saw this model and it had the features I wanted, so I thought I would give it a try. I vacuumed with my Hoover right before I went to the store and then vacuumed right when I got home with my new Bissell.I could not believe all of the dust and lint that it pulled up. This vacuum does an excellent job and is worth every penny. The great thing is that it is affordable!

After shopping around and looking at a lot of vacuum cleaners, I came home and looked here on Amazon to see what was offered. Was I ever surprised when I saw this vacuum offered for the price and then I got to take another 25.00 off and I got a 3 way FeatherWeight vacuum as well. My vacuum was delivered to my door and I put it together without difficulty and then set about to vacuum. Oh my!!
What a job. I have hardwood floors, tile and carpet and it went from one to the other without any problems picking up everything that it was supposed to pick up. It is so easy to use and it does a simply WONDERFUL job!!! Never again will I ever use a "bag" vacuum!!! Way to go AMAZON.COM for this great offer!
