I bought this vac for $18 because I wanted something I could vacuum up the litter my cats track all through my house. I have 4 cats and nice new blonde laminate flooring. Every speck of dirt shows up on my floors and my cats kick litter out of the box and then walk it all through the house. I used to keep my big Hoover vac out all the time to pick up the litter but I felt gross about using the same vacuum on my carpets. So my mom gave me her Eureka vacuum to use but that just blew the litter all through the house. So I saw this product and decided to buy it. This vacuum ROCKS! It picks up everything the first time! It is a small vac so it's not going to pick up bigger items but it definitely can pick up dust bunnies and litter and dirt and all that. Plus the pad picks up stuff too. I used the mop for the first time today and I liked that too. The charge lasts a long time too, I charge it every couple days and everything works great. Also, since it is small it doesn't look so obtrusive to keep out like my big hoover does. There are really only 2 things I don't like: one is that the light that comes on when you charge it is really really bright. Like blindingly bright. But I just face the vacuum so the light faces the wall and everything is fine. Also, you have to put a clean pad on if you're going to mop or you'll make your floor dirtier than they were. I feel like my pads are always dirty and I never have a clean one on hand. I've seen that you can buy some extra ones for like $15 or something so I might do that. But what I do like about the pads is they are washable so I'm paying for pads I can keep and wash over and over again rather than throw away and have to keep buying them like the swiffer wet jet. Also, you can use any solution, you don't have to buy the expensive stuff, you can ever put just soap and water in there. So I feel like Bissell has made a great, quality product that is green because you don't have to keep throwing pads away and it's bagless!! I would like to state first that the Bissell solution that comes with it smells like a gingerly frolic through a citrus orchard, but works like grandmas old school mop that leaves streaks and spots. That out of the way, this product is AWESOME. We have wood floors and tile floors and this thing works (that's a quote from Tony the Tiger) We have two toddlers that throw their food on the ground when they are done eating. This vacuums up on one side and then mops it up on the other. I have found that the 4 dollar gallon sized hard floor cleaning solution from Sam's Club (Proforce brand and pink in color) is the best solution ever. I use 1 teaspoon (not table spoon) per filling of the container and it dries fast with no streaks.
On another note the thing holds a good charge as we leave it off the charger for days at a time and it still works. You can't vacuum and spray solution at the same time, but who would?????
The unit is durable, one of our toddlers knocked it over 5 times a day for almost a year before it got a leak in the tank. I called them and it only cost 3 or 4 dollars to get a new tank. They sent a new one fast and were courteous.

I bought this because I hate to sweep! The vacuum works great, it picks up everything without a problem. Very easy to empty the canister, and even has a filter which I just tap a few times against the edge of the garbage can and it gets fairly clean. (you can get the rest off with your fingers) You have to line it up just right for it to click back into place, though that has not been a big deal.
The mop is great too. Cleans up everything. I have had no problems with my solution canister leaking, or spilling water/solution anywhere. The best part of it all is when you are done, you can take the mop pad off the bottom, and throw it in your washing machine and dryer. It comes out like new and there are no expensive refills to buy.
I would recommend this if you want a great product to cut your mop/sweeping time in half! and your budget.

Got it on sale for $20. I have been very happy with it. The vacuum works great and holds a charge long enough for a two bedroom two floor condo with all hard wood floors. I use it in the bathrooms too. You can use any cleaner in it, even vinegar and water. I clean the floors all the time since I got this...its so easy. I'm sure products that use heat or brushes clean better, but the floors look and smell clean to me. Amazing on pet hair. I had the Swiffer wet jet. It didn't vacuum, and broke quickly. With the Swiffer wet jet you have to use their expensive solution (the Bissel can use anything), has batteries for the solution spray, and disposable pads. The Swiffer is very expensive to use over time.Customer Review: Love it!

This is what I use it on - 800 sq. feet of laminate and a tile entry way. I have 3 cats and 2 small dogs. This is by far the best product I have used to keep my floors looking and smellling clean between weekend scubs. The vacuum is great for picking up pet hair, cat litter and other messes. The mop performs a little weaker than the swifer mop but still its better than nothing. What I love most is that it is ECONOMICAL. No batteries, no bags, and no overpriced disposable mop pads. I found that changing the pad after I vacuum and before I mop gives me better results, so you may want to buy extra pads.
