Customer Review: It's fun to clean my carpet !

Ok - it really isn't that much fun, but with the BISSELL LITTLE GREEN MACHINE it can be (and it's easy, too). I have cats and dogs, and frequently have a pee spot or cat vomit to clean up, and cleaning off-white carpets is nearly impossible to do. Last year, I tried another hand held shampoo machine that was cordless and had a rechargable battery. While this was easy to use, and did an ok job, it only lasted for two or three spots, then needed to be recharged. Sorry to say, but that machine went to small appliance heaven yesterday. Today I brought home the BISSELL LITTLE GREEN MACHINE. In less than ten minutes I had unpacked everything,read the instructions, and was cleaning all those annoying spots. This machine is priced just right, fabulous, powerful, and easy to clean up, and it did a terrific job in no time! I highly recommend it!Customer Review: AWESOME deep cleaner for an awesome price!!!

Vacuuming may get the top dirt off, but I love the feeling of deep-cleaning.. knowing that your floors and furniture are REALLY clean. So I purchased the Bissell Little Green, for $79 from Walmart. Other stores had it for $99+.
It is extremely easy to fill up the solution/clean tank, and even easier to dump the collection tank. I really enjoyed using this product, and it really surprised me to see the collection tank completely black after deep cleaning my couches. Gross!!
It's works great in your car, too. Snow and salt in the winter makes my car filthy, it is so nice to easily clean it.
Only downside -- it is small and not ideal for large rooms. Also, it took 3 fillups of solution/hot water to clean my couch and loveseat. It empties rather quickly, which is kind of annoying.

This little machine turned out to be much more powerful than I was expecting. I bought one yesterday after my dog left my a present on my beige carpet. Let's just say I am not eating chocolate pudding anymore after cleaning up that mess. Whew. I got the majority of the mess up with paper towels, but there was still a large, dark brown spot in the carpet. I tried to rent a Rug Doctor, but it was too early in the morning. I waited it out and went to Linens and Things and got this machine (with a 20% off coupon!) and brought her home and went to town. You cannot even tell where the mess was!! Sure, I like the environmental aspects of this product (made with less PVCs, no styrofoam packaging, etc, etc), cause, I mean, I like the planet and am glad Bissell's stepping up. But what I like even more (which, I realize, might make me sound selfish) is that I have a pretty large dog who sheds, and the Little Green is super helpful at keeping my house from turning into a hairball, and at cleaning up any dog-related stains (this is keeping my carpets in shape for sure). The reason, besides the cleaning power, that it is so helpful is that it's not a hassle to carry it if you need a quick clean up, because it's much more mobile than one of those huge machines, but it seems to still have the same amount of power. I first heard of the green machine from a client at work. I am a veterinary technician and was trying to help out an owner of a cat who frequently vomits. It happens that I have two cats who do the same at my own house! Our conversation was overheard by a third party and they recommended the Bissel Green Machine. Her recommendation lead me to put it on our wedding registry and now I don't know what I would do without it! It is so light and easy to use, cleaning up the messes used to be such a pain and I would frequently pretend I didn't see them and leave them for my husband to clean up later. Now I just go to the the closet and turn on the machine and its done. My husband even commented recently that the cats must be doing better since he hasn't seen any surprises lately!
