I have all hardwood floors in my house and 3 cats. It's such a headache to keep the floor free from debris. So, after sweeping and using a swiffer and STILL finding cat hair and dust everywhere, I decided to purchase this vacuum. I looked online for reviews (like I always do before purchasing something) and really couldn't find any. I bought it anyways and I love it! It picks up ALL of the cat hair and any dust or debris on my floors. I can freely go without wearing socks now without having to wipe my feet off. It also picks up objects like cat litter or cat food with ease. I highly recommend this product.Customer Review: Just what I needed

I read many reviews before ordering this vacuum and hesitated slightly after reading the negatives, but couldn't find anything else that fit what I was looking for. I have river front property (lots of sand tracked in), a chocolate lab, and hardwood floors and needed something that was light and quick and easy to store. I've used this for a few weeks now and absolutely love it. I do a quick run over my floors at least once a day and it is no big deal. I don't know why people found it difficult to use. As for the attachment, I haven't used it and probably won't so that wasn't a factor for me.Customer Review: BEST HARDFLOOR CLEANER!!!

Recently moved into a home with hard floors throughout. Yes, my Oreck is great but just wasn't doing the trick on the hardwoods & slate tile. After reading all the rave reviews about the Bissell Versus I decided to give it a try. Boy am I glad I did!!!! I works better than anything else I have tried (and let me tell you I've tried lots of other cleaners). It has cut my time cleaning in half.......and that's the honest truth. I am so sold on it both of my daughters are getting one too for their hard floors. Best purchase I have made in a long time. Go for it....you won't be sorry.Customer Review: Brilliant!

My dog is a shedder - short, white hair everywhere at all times! I have hardwood floors. This thing is a hair/dustmagnet. Picks up kibble, rubber bands, just gobbles it up! So easy to clean too.
I don't know what I did before I got this vacuum (I actually do know, but it was so traumatic that I guess I'm trying to store it deep in my subconscious so I can forget it). Love the design - sometimes I don't even move furniture and still get those hairs good. Only thing I'll pick at is the hose attachment can be a little longer.
Buy it. Don't even think about it. Genius.

We are renovating our home. There has been a thin layer of sheet rock dust over everything. Our old vacuum wouldn't pick it up at all. The versus picks it up no problem. I love the suction on the ends of the "V" they slide under the furniture with ease. We also have two small dogs that shed all year long. The versus picks up the hair my old vac left behind. The hose has great suction too. It gets the dog hair you don't even see off the furniture. The swivel takes a little getting used to, but it is handy when you get the hang of it.
