Customer Review: Well look at that it actually works

It's not a substitute for a professional shampoo or steam cleaning so don't expect those sort of results. And considering I only dropped $13 for it, including the extra can, I did not expect them either. But let me say that there is a considerable and noticeable difference in my carpet after use. The heavy traffic patterns are virtually gone and the multiple stains here and there are far less pronounced now, although not vanished. This is white medium pile carpet so given it's low budget retail limitations I am nonetheless impressed.
Pros: Delivers what it is advertised to do. Heavy traffic stains are practically gone. Spot stains are far less apparent too. Also smells much nicer in here now.
Cons: This is work. Any ad you may have seen for the stick doesn't include the repeated scrubbing required to get the best results. Dispensing the foam takes practice and is an awkward design. It's not quite as user friendly as it appears.
Overall not a perfect product and not perfect results. But for the money you'd pay renting a steamer it's worth a little elbow grease with a powerful cleaner to get just about the same result. If you are looking to freshen up your carpet, not restore it to like new, I would recommend getting this.

I was very happy with this product. We have a travel trailer and the rugs needed to be freshened up. We don't wear shoes into the trailer, so the carpet isn't stained, but still needed to be cleaned. The advice from the RV people is that you should not saturate your carpets, so I didn't want to use my carpet cleaner as I was concerned about too much water. So, I bought the Rug Stick and an extra bottle of the cleaner. The one that comes with the stick will only clean a small area. I was very pleased with this product. The stick is small enough to reach all the nooks and cranies of the trailer. It spruced up all the carpet fiber and left a wonderful clean fresh smell. I scrubbed the carpet in several directions to really get the foam worked in and it worked great. The carpet is no longer tramped down looking. I highly recommend to anyone who has a recreational vehicle. Really worked great.Customer Review: Not as great as advertised, but what is?

I have all wood floors in my house, so I purchased this for my area rugs. I did not expect it to work the way the show it works on TV. Advertising happens for a reason. Anyway, what I LOVE about this is that while scrubbing with it, I get all the hair up that my vacuum leaves behind. I have two Golden Retrievers and they shed a LOT. While my vacuum does get a lot of the hair, there is always some left behind. After using the rug stick, the hair is completely gone. Now, as for the cleaner, I don't even use the spray action on the handle. It has a tendency to clog and clump in the head of the stick. I spray cleaner in a line on my rug, then use the scrubber, much easier and less frustrating. Also, if you are purchasing this, also purchase the refill of the cleaner, the cleaner bottle the include Barely cleaned both of my rugs once. Overall, I like the rug stick, it does what I purchased it to do.Customer Review: Not Amazing But...

No, this is not a amazing magical product. But it did make my carpet look better in high traffic areas. It perked up the fibers, and the fresh scent freshened up the livingroom. The small can covered a 8'x11' area and I still have some left. I had to pull the brush almost fully upright to get the foam to come out. No big deal. It left tough some stains but I just took some of the foam and used an old toothbrush and they came up. I waited about 45min for it to dry fully, but I had a fan on, so it may take longer. I found it at Giant grocery store, it was about $12.99, and the extra can was about $4. I think it was worth the amount I paid for it. Its better then renting a cleaner from the store, who knows what the last person who used it cleaned up. Bonus perk, I got a nice arm work out.Customer Review: I would say BUY IT

When I first saw the t.v. ad for the Rug Stick. I thought how great would that be if it worked. There are areas of my carpet that are walked down and others that have stains. I have a 2 year old who has just about done everything to this carpet. I opened the box just expecting the worst and was suprised at how well it did work. The area of the carpet that was walked down was given new life. There were some stains that it did not get up right away. I had to repeat it a couple of times, but most came up with ease. It comes with a trial size of the foam but buy another one. The larger can of woolite heavy traffic foam seamed to work better. I know everyone will have their own opinion of how it works on their carpet but for me, it was a great buy.
