Pro:
Powerful considering the compact size. Good for particles on floor, mat, desk,etc. not very effective for hair hiding deep inside carpet (attached brush may help a little bit). Don't expect this will clean pet hairs very well.
Easy to clean, Easy to take the filter off and clean.
Handy. Battery Last about 15-20mins
Con:
Using Cd-Ni battery. I am not suggesting you put this dustbuster on charger all the time. that may reduce the battery life (because of the Cd-Ni battery's memmory effect). It's good to use up the battery everytime then recharge it. (This is my personal understanding about Cd-Ni rechargeable battery.)
Overall, I like this cleanner.

I own several plug-in vacs, some of them being of very powerful and high quality, but none do I use as much as this Dustbuster. I use the Dustbuster at least twice a day to clean up small areas as I have a cat that sheds hair and creates a sandy mess near the litter box. The suction is extremely powerful with enough battery juice to last several minutes at the high power setting. This is plenty of time to clean up the areas I need. The ease of dumping the waste canister makes it simple and the cradle fits perfectly.
Only downside is the filter seems to get clogged easily and the filters don't seem that cheap to replace. But then again, I do use this machine quite a lot.

I have solved the kitty litter problem with this amazing sucking vacuum. I moved five indoor-outdoor cats to a new house where they are temporarily (until the cat yard is secured) indoor cats, and the litter box gets a lot of use with a lot of tracking. I ordered this on basis of other reviews as I had bought a dust buster when they first came out(could it be 30 years ago?) and was very disappointed. This is a breeze to use, to clean, and it keeps its sucking power for hours. Between the World's Best Cat Litter (flushable) and this vacuum for the tracking the bathroom is clean and you can't tell there are five cats in this house. I really picks up cat hair, too. Very happy with this product.Customer Review: Didn't like it at first... you need to charge it. :P

When I got this in the mail, my room was desperate for a good vaccuum, especially on my window/door frames, since they have a ledge at the top that collects a lot of dust. I was extremely disappointed when I tried it at first, because it was sooo weak. But luckily I read reviews about the battery so I didn't complain yet. I had to charge it up for a couple of hours before I used it at it's potential.
It's a really good vaccuum, powerful, and easy to clean out. I was surprised at how much I collected. I even sucked up a few moths with it, it's my secret weapon. Haha. Highly recommended~ a good price, the battery life is low but just make sure you always keep it charged.

Now seriously, this is not going to compare to a 500 something dollar vacuum. It is however more powerful than my small bagless eureka. It also has two most needed attachments, a small one with a brush tip and a long skinny one, perfect for baseboards, small spaces and upholstery. This thing sucks everything up. Someone else said they couldn't get it to pick up cat hair, but it does. It's not a lint brush but, we have two cats in a small apartment and this thing has solved my pet hair problem. I love this little vacuum; it sucks up more dirt than I knew existed (gross) in my carpet! Blech!=) It is a good value (I got it on sale from Amazon for 35$) and I very good product, in my opinion.
