This mini torch is very useful for my work which is electrical in nature. I have a Portasol butane mini torch which has a hot gun tip but it will not light using the internal piezo-electric starter so I use the Blazer to heat up this tip until it starts. I prefer the hot blower to a straight flame when using heat shrink tubing because the straight flame can often burn the tubing spoiling the appearance of the work. It's nice to have the stand and the little "always on" switch if you need to heat something and have both hands free. The Blazer is portable so when you are sitting around with friends and a "who has the coolest lighter" competition starts you will always win with this little guy. Finally and most important, you always know how much fuel remains because the clear reservoir is easy to check.Customer Review: the end of a search

this is the best lighter or torch depending on your use, i have ever used. its easy to fill, easy to see if its full, lights EVERY time, creates a nice hot butane flame. if you are lighting a fire or shrink wrapping a splice this is the one you need, its small and light and carrys in the pocket, i usually have it in the glove compartment of my tractor where i can get at it. try it, the last fire maker you'll ever need.Customer Review: Blazer lighter is a quality lighter.

When I first seen the price of this lighter I was a little weary, I have bought other expensive lighters and they really do not work as well as one might be led to believe. I must say the Blazer works fantastically. Lights in wind and as long as you get descent fuel it will keep working. Really a great lighter not just for your smokes but small projects which may require a little torch.Customer Review: Best lighter on the market!

I've known about these since the early 90's, and had one for 10 years. My old one developed a small hole in it, so it would'nt hold butane anymore. The piezzo still works,after 1,000's of lights. If there is anyway to send it back to the factory to get a new butane reservoir, I would. In the meantime,I purchased a new one.Customer Review: Blazer Torch Lighter

excellent product, would recommend this for any cigar smoker..Works better then those high dollar good looking lighters. I would diffidently purchase another when the time comes to replace mine. Had one years ago and it was always dependable until I dropped it one to many times.....Money well spent!!!!!
