I have a number of house plants throughout my house. A year and a half ago in the Fall, I made the mistake of bringing my tomato plants indoors to see if I could extend their life. I didn't realize that I would also bring in a host of problems along with them. They were riddled with all sorts of insects including little black gnats. Well soon afterward, they were flying all over my house and in all of my plants. Eventually I just put the tomato plants back outside to get rid of the problem, but it had already spread to all of my houseplants by this time.
Being someone who doesn't like to have chemicals in the house, I tried all sorts of natural products including Neem spray. The Neem did actually work to keep the problem maintained, but didn't actually get rid of it altogether. This brand of product was recommended by the greenhouse where I buy my plants, but they did not have the granules for indoor plants. Now having used it for about two weeks, I have not seen any gnats for the past couple of days. So I think this is a good sign that they may be gone. This is the first time in the past year and a half that I have not seen a single one in an entire day.
I would highly recommend this product as it seems to work quite well. I will wait for a couple more weeks to be sure, but it appears to have resolved the problems and I am quite pleased with it.
