If the cat hadn't knocked the other one off of the counter I would still be using the old one. But this one has the filter timer on top so I suppose it was a good thing. Even though there is a line filter (well water), there is still a slight "taste" to the water here. I use the Brita filter to eliminate any remaining impurities and the results are great. Now if they would only make one about twice that size...!Customer Review: Love this product...

I have been using this product for over a year now. It works perfectly, no leaking, no mold. It is heavy when full, but not as heavy as cases of bottled water! I like the taste, I like the electronic reminder, I like the volume it holds and I do not get any tastes absorbed from my refrigerator. I would recommend this product to anyone that drinks a lot of water and wants to reduce recycle waste.Customer Review: Brita Dispenser

I was using the Brita water Pitcher but need a larger container for my distilled water that I distill and this works real good with this. I have no dislikes at all as it will hold more than a gallon. I bought one of these for my daughter and I would not have done this if it was a not quality product. I keep it on the counter as I use room temperature water. I did not receive the actual item you showed on your ad. the dispenser you showed had a guage on the lid, showing the life of the cartage.but I was sent the older lid that I could put a sticker on. welcome too 2011. I have owned a Brita water pitcher for over 20 years. When my old pitcher ended up getting broken, I searched far and wide for a replacement and was elated to find the Ultra Max Brita Water Pitcher through Amazon.com. I am very satisfied with my new pitcher and its new improved design. I hope to enjoy this one as long and hopefully longer then my last one.
