Brita AquaView provides proof your water is better - right before your eyes. AquaView's removable side panel exposes the filter's unique window that allows you to see the filter changing color over time as it traps sediment from your tap water. Each filter provides 100 gallons of filtered water, approximately 4 months for the average familyBrita's high-tech Aquaview system has a special window that allows you to watch the filter catch sediment and other impurities before dispensing cleaner, safer water for cooking or drinking. While the disparity in taste between filtered and unfiltered tap water has long been observed, the Aquaview system illuminates the difference in color. With the convenience of filtered, spray, and stream options, it fits neatly underneath faucet necks. A tug on a special lever releases unfiltered water for hand- or dish-washing, while a handy electronic filter notification alerts users when it's time to change the filter.
The system attaches to standard faucet heads, diminishing contaminants including cryptosporidium, giardia, lead, and sediment. Certified by the National Sanitation Foundation International, the filter also eradicates the odor and flavor of chlorine. Filters should be changed every 100 gallons and can be purchased in bulk. Customer Review: Alternative to bottled and huge bottles of water?

We shall see. We've had this tap filter for about a month and so far very good. It was moronically easy to install on a fairly unusual kitchen tap and blends in nicely. Seems to be a fairly compact unit but I have nothing to compare to. Water coming through the filter compares nicely with the huge bottles of water we still get but will probably phase out and cancel. Thus far, I would recommend this unit.
