Didn't have my outdoor compost pile quite ready so the bucket, filling up, stayed in the kitchen for about a week. I like this product. With the filters there is no smell and it holds a lot of stuff....so i am able to compost all my kitchen waste by putting it in here and then when i have time walk it out to the outdoor compost bin.Customer Review: compost bucket

I rinse and thoroughly dry this bucket after I empty it into the big compost bin but I recently started getting fruit flies. Any suggestions on how to get rid of them because I don't think a new filter will do it.
