Description of Long Handled Dust Pan and Broom - Long Handled Dust Pan and Broom - NC24044NC24044The physically demanding part of sweeping is the bending down and trying to push stuff into the pan with the broom. Do as the pros do and use this long handled dustpan. Save your back and your energy for something more worthwhile! Your aching back will love you for using this dustpan and broom set. Each component has a 20-inch-tall pole, eliminating the need to stoop over while sweeping up the last of the dust. The well-designed dustpan is slightly angled to make sweeping dirt into it much easier, and its lip is made of high-quality rubber that helps hold the pan in place. The set snaps together and takes up very little space in a broom closet. --Julija Gelazis
Tools and Hardware Reviews of Long Handled Dust Pan and Broom - Long Handled Dust Pan and Broom - NC24044NC24044Customer Review: Great dustpan and brush set Summary: 5 Stars
We have an old house with hardwood, tile and linoleum floors. We've always used long-handled dustpan and brush sets to sweep the floors between vacuumings. We needed to replace an old set because the brush and hand grips were loose on the handles, and the rubber strip had come off the dustpan. So far this set is working great. It's a good height, the brush is easy to clean, and the jointed hand grip makes it more maneuverable. The pan is two inches wider than our old one, which is good for sweeping, but a bit awkward for emptying into the wastebasket. The rubber-edged dustpan works perfectly on smooth floors. On tiled floors with recessed grout lines the dirt doesn't all come up with one sweep. On the whole though we're very pleased, and the price was excellent.
