I bought this so I could add 3 trays to my existing worm tower. I used to harvest compost every month, and with additional trays, I harvest once every 2 weeks. (I have 8 trays, so the vegetation gets 4 months of composting time.)
More throughput lets me deal with more compostable garden waste, and have more compost to feed to my garden.
