Tools and Hardware Reviews of Chamberlain KLIK1U Clicker Transmitter Universal Garage Door Remote ControlCustomer Review: Won't work on some of the old stuff Summary: 5 Stars
I have an older Sears/Craftsman door opener and the remote control quit working. The universal clicker wouldn't work, so I ended up replacing the receiver. I'm not certain, but it may have been the receiver was so old that it couldn't be keyed to the new clicker. The circuit board was dated 1979, and it could have been the receiver was originally the problem. I was able to use the universal clicker with the new unit.
Customer Review: Chamberllain Clicker is a 5 Star Winner Summary: 5 Stars
The home I bought was eqipped with a Chamberlain garage door opener but no remote opener was supplied with it. The Chamberlain KLIK1U Clicker Transmitter Universal Garage Door Remote Control worked like a charm; it took me longer to first read the instructions than the actual installation took.
Customer Review: Fantastic product. Easy to use Summary: 5 Stars
Bought this remote to use with my overhead door garage door opener. Followed instructions provided in the remote and took less than 5 minutes to set it up. If you do not understand the instructions, go to Chamberlain's website to watch the setup video. The remote is fairly small and flat compared to my original remotes. Had it for about a month now, and it's been working flawlessly.
Customer Review: Garage Door Replacement Clicker Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this garage door clicker because the rental house did not come with one for the 2 car garage. This unit was VERY easy to program. The instructions are written very clear. I have two different make and model garage door openers and had both working within ten minutes. The range of the signal is good. I would recommend this product for anyone needing to replace their opener.
Customer Review: Works perfect, but needs about 5 minutes manual reading Summary: 5 Stars
The device comes with the leaflet, where the programming is described fairly clearly, although I might have some suggestions for improvements.
After you read a bit and think another minute, you will be able to program the buttons. Since then, the device works just fine, the design and quality of material is very good. I can't say for the battery life; it works fine after 2 months.
