I only bought one of these remotes in case it was not the right model. I had it working in five minutes. No cursing. The instructions were clear enough. It seems that the newer your opener the easier it is to program.
My step son has it in his truck now and I am ordering another for my car.
I have a three year old Chamberlain opener. This works great for my model.

I used this for 2 different homes, with 2 different door opener manufacturers, installed in different years (Genie 1997 & Chamberlain 2004). Each location took me less than 5 minutes to program, and most of that time was spent looking for the stepladder. I bought this item and it arrived within 3 days. Got it out of the packaged, read the directions, and installed it on an old 12 switch Genie. Took less than 5 minutes. Instructions were straight forward, easy to read, and the photos were of great help. If your remote was stolen from your car like mines, or you you just happen to misplace it. product came in box inside envelope with instructions and came with a battery already in it ....easily setup controll and works great:) the brand was a liftmaster though but works just fine for the price. my apartment manager wanted $50 for a new one thats almost 4 times more what it costs on here ...will definitely purchase again from seller if i need to in the future
