I was amazed at how this clock fulfilled all of my expectations - the expectations that I had all but given up on, to tell the truth.
I just bought it for the size of the display. When it arrived, I discovered that it was very nicely designed and constructed. It is made of good material - very solid and nicely put together. Everything about it is a cut above.
The controls are solid and especially easy to access and use. I especially like the volume of the alarm. It is loud enough to wake me up, but nowhere near loud enough to ruin my day - like so many alarm clocks.
It also keeps surprisingly good time. I have an atomic clock nearby - purely for accuracy's sake. I was so tired of clocks that drifted out of sync. I bought this clock some weeks back and set it using the atomic clock. After 6 weeks, it is still right in sync with the atomic clock.
If you are tired of poorly designed and poorly constructed, cheap looking clocks, made of cheap stuff, with clunky, awkward, cheap controls, etc., with a weird mix of useless features, that gain or lose a minute every couple of weeks, with an outrageously loud alarm, I would recommend this clock. It will renew your faith.
