Customer Review: JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR

This is a good basic digital clock that is reasonably priced, easy to set, and has GIGANTIC numbers that can be read from across the room.
I was in the market for a clock because our new TV cable box doesn't display the time. This black Chaney digital clock fits perfectly inside our TV stand next to the black cable box and so is invisible except for the time. LOVE THAT!
There's a dimmer switch that allows you to choose either a high or a low setting -- the low being perfectly adequate (even through a smoked glass door), without distracting from our TV viewing.
I can't comment on the alarm function, since I haven't used it.
Warning: I'm so glad I read a review about a similar Chaney clock with a RED digital read-out which has a dot that blinks constantly. I decided on this clock instead, as I expect that blinking light would have driven me quite mad.

I bought this to use in my entertainment center. While both my Cable Box, and DVD player have clocks on them, I would need a telescope to read either one from across the room. This Big Green Display is Perfect. I can see it from across the room, yet it doesn't interfere with TV viewing. The Green Display looks great with the displays on my Audio Receiver, and other equipment. I like the black housing, as it "disappears" into the background. All I see is the display. Looks Great!
This is an Alarm Clock, but I am using is strictly as a Clock. I haven't tested the Alarm feature.

I bought two of these units, and I am very happy with both. I set them up high in the back of our bedroom and in the living room. You can see them from 15 feet away easily at night, and they glow enough not to have eye strain figuring out the time. The only downside of sorts is you must plug them in (not battery powered at all), but they have a reasonably long cord, and they are small enough to put on a small shelf (maybe three inches wide). One minor problem is if the power goes off, they are not the easiest thing to reset (especially if you have them up high like I do) as you have no battery backup. Still, I think they are attractive, functional, and dependable.Customer Review: A Very Helpful Clock

I was using a green led clock, but was having difficulty reading the numbers during the night. I wanted another clock that had green display
instead of red and one that was large enough to read in the dark. This clock fits the bill. It is very user friendly and easy to read. One feature that I like about it is, that you can leave the alarm switch on.
When the alarm is activated, you just push one button to silence the alarm, (not to be confused with snooze). This means the next night I don't have to assure that the alarm is on. It's there and ready.
For it's display, friendliness & price, this clock can't be beat.

I have a 60" plasma that was just hung on my wall and it took up the space of where my wall clock was originally. So I searched around to find a clock with large illuminated numbers so I could see the time while watching a movie or listening to music in my home theater when the lights are dimmed. This was the excellent purchase and the colors of the digits matches some of the colors of my equipment. The time is very easy to adjust, one of the easiest i've seen in years. Just hold the time button and then push hour or minute and you're done. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the market for a led clock. Thanks.
